An Ancient Science

Deep Tissue Massage is a therapeutic technique based on a slow, intentional application of massage. Deep Tissue does not mean “deep pressure”, but rather slow warming of the tissue, breaking up surface level tension and allowing the practitioner to work deeper into the muscle tissue. As a Certified Massage Therapist, I am able to understand the difference in these terms and applications of such, allowing my clients to enjoy their session and leave with less pain than they arrived with.
